Would you like to learn Robyn's unique "appliqart" method of needleturn applique? Come along to her two day Fuchsia Fever workshop to learn the following:
"In my classes I teach people how to do my method of turned edge appliqué, and give many tips and tricks for doing appliqué in general. In my Appliqart method, templates are cut out of freezer paper and the fabric shapes all have a turning allowance added as they are cut out. A Clover mini iron is used to turn and press the fabric edges up and over the freezer paper. The freezer paper is then removed and the turned edges are glue basted over using the Roxanne Glue-Baste-It."
Robyn has been published in magazines such as Homespun and Australian Patchwork & Quilting and has won a number of Best of Show Awards for her amazingly detailed applique work. She is also a designer of some stunning patterns, many of which we will be stocking in the shop once again. (The first batch went like hot cakes!)
Dates: Saturday 16th and 23rd June. Time: 10am - 4pm Cost: $135 per person including the pattern, a finger lunch, morning and afternoon tea on both days.
