If you're anything like me, you get to the end of the year and wonder why you didn't manage to make any Christmas presents - or why you're still stitching at 3am on Christmas morning to finish the last one! :-)
With this in mind, we've selected six smaller projects that can be stitched throughout the year for as gifts for family and friends.
We just couldn't resist these cute projects when we saw Natalie Bird at our Trade Show at the end of November and we hope you like them too.
Here's how it works: It's a bit like a Block of the Month or a Club.
- The project kit will be released every 2nd month and there are six projects. The project kits will therefore be released in March, May, July, Sept, Nov and January.
- Obviously we won't have the same fabrics as Natalie, so it's going to be a bit of a surprise as to what fabrics we'll use for the projects every time.
- Just as in a Block of the Month the project kit will be available on the 1st working day of March, May, July, Sept, Nov and January. We'll take your credit card details and process the sale on that day.
- The project kit will contain the pattern and fabrics for the project. In some instances, there will be pre-printed stitcheries; in others, you will need to trace the stitcheries on to the background fabric yourself.
- For the Doorstop and Fabric Bucket project, the fabric supplied will be for the doorstop.
- If you sign up for the Project Club, you sign up for all six of the projects.
I'm working on getting a price together and hope to have that by the end of next week. It's looking like being between $30 - $35 every 2nd month.
Expressions of interest are welcome. Please note : you are not committing to anything until we finalised the price at which point you can decide whether to go ahead or not. :-)
This is just to give us an indication of interest and numbers.
There's a lovely variety of projects here and there should be something for everyone. :-) We hope you'll be making more than one of the specific project every 2nd month and busting your stash doing so. ;-)
