Our Anything Goes classes are always interesting and you never know quite what to expect! Last Friday morning, Wendy Arnold's Anything Goes class became Penguin Jumper Central for a short time when Jan brought in her Penguin Jumpers for us to see.
Penguin Jumpers??? Yes, Penguin Jumpers!! For the Fairy Penguins on Philip Island! The little guys who encounter oil out in the sea lose the insulation properties of their feathers due to both
the oil and the removal process. They need to be kept warm until they, and their feathers, recover. So - people knit jumpers for them! How awesome is that! And look at the colours that Jan has used - one even has cool stripes!
Jan and Leah model the jumpers in the photo above.
But it's not only Penguin Jumpers being produced by our amazing women in Wendy's Friday morning group.... just look at the quilts too!

Joan and Wendy discuss Joan's stunning Japanese quilt which is hanging on the design wall while Leah looks on and unpacks her sewing machine ready for action.

And Bobby's beautiful Indian Spices quilt goes up on the design wall for us to see.
